When to start?

My 3/4 Whip 1/4 Collie is 7 months now and her recall and retrieve are coming on well and she is starting to use her nose well, when should i start her mooching for rabbits (daylight)? so far i've kept clear of areas I know are well populated as dont want to ruin her as she is my first running dog any advice would be much appreciated.

i would wait another 2 or 3 months anyway mate..maybe start doing a bit middle to late august...and take it slowly from there, because you will have many seasons with her if you ruin her you wont have any enjoyable ones anyway...you have any pics of her mate??..how big is she???...atb with her anyway mate

Thanks Craig, Shes 17/18" at the moment her mum and dad are both about 19/20"

shes a lovely looking animal mate ..quite like my little fella, similar colouring, the same size and the same age as my little fella....hope she turns out a cracker mate

 

keep me updated on her progress mate and let me know what size she makes when fully grown!!!
