roan 4
At the end of the day it dont matter who has or says what nothing and i mean nothing on this earth!!! will beat a bull cross at catching and killing foxes!! a bull is the ultimate gladiator it can not be beat by anyother dog pound for pound so putting this blood into a lurcher is the best route to take, most dogs will catch a few foxes but they wont stick day in day out!! my m8ts old dog frankie once took 14 january foxes in the space of a week,to say he was a bit sore was an understatment there is NO saluki or greyhoud ar deerhound or bedlington or anything that can do what this cross does im fed up with lads who aint got a clue thinkinj they know everything there is to know some of the best lurchers have come out of wales, most probably all foxing dogs are now bull bred dogs!!! thats quite a sweeping statement to say as you have not seen every dog hunt including my own hunting deerhound or his father Quote Link to post

Royston2 0
i have a 20" beddy grey and she started of doubled up at 13 months and done really well she was with an experienced fox dog we started on friday night first slip she got there same time as the other dog bang on right on the sharp end over the weekend we had nine on the lamp friday to sunday she got there second a couple of times and first also a few times always on the head the more she saw the harder she got all though being sore...On the thursday she was still sore a terrier of mine slipped to ground i broke through on the terrier and it was about 2 foot of as it was a larger terrier i pulled it out and staked him back to trench on and pull the vixen out as i was making it bigger to get in the bitch (beddy cross) must of seen a bit of the charlie more than me as she flew bang on drawed it and killed it she was sore after the weekend and i certainly never had any intention of using her to draw any way along time has passed and i have used her now single handed on charlie and she is still going strong this isnt to say my beddy grey is better than any other dog or cross for that matter it was just a little memory of mine of this bitch as i was reading the thread a good fox dog is a good fox dog to me whether its this cross or that good luck all each to there own as always lads and lasses...
