FOXING LURCHERS

Recommended Posts

you cant go wrong with a bullx out of the right stuff.still as keen on the 4th of the night as if it was the 1st. i have seen other crosses that are first out the back of the jeep at the start of the night and come later on after they have had a few there not so quickout the back then.them last few calls of the night when the dogs are a bit sore and stiff is where a good bullx shines.am not saying other crosses cant do it because theres people out there with excellent dogs with no bull blood in them that can do it.bullx is just my choice for a foxing lurcher :)

killing a fox does nt seem to be a problem for most bull x. Its the actuall catching that seems to be the tricky bit.Seen a lot of bulls finishing the job but very few actually pulling the quarry. Al

for me it would have to be a bullx, you cant beat them :D:yes:

You can get better. The bullx is over rated. A good beddyx will take a battering time and time again  Anything with a beddy in it is a ready made fox dog. These bull things that are about these days dont even look like lurchers. They grab hold of the quary by any part and just hold on(bum biters) witch means things die slowly at the hands of a bullx :diablo: . We all know the real reson most people got one of these things anyway b****** the dirty b*****ds. :censored:

I had a pure greyhound once, that would dispatch foxes with ease. ;)

smoothrun,

thats the biggest pile of shite ive ever heard in my life, you mustnt have seen to many bullxs work so, cause mine aint work like that, what do you mean they dont look like lurchers of course they do,what do they look like so?and the real reason ive got one of these dogs is to kill foxes what else?

you stick with your beddyx but i bet theres more people whod prefer the bullx.

A pit bull on stilts. All head and nothing else  I dont like the things and that is it. They dont look like lurchers. I work 2 greyhounds and 2 beddyx greyhounds and a deerhoundxgrey every one of my dogs will take fox single handed better than any bull x

"all head and nothing else"

i never seen a dog like that before,i thought that they had a body,4 legs and a tail aswell,i thought a lurcher is a greyhound x so that means a greyhound bullx is a lurcher.and like i said you mustnt have seen to many bullxs work because when it comes to a hard nights foxing where you maybe getting three or four foxes the bullx is king :D
