ive found with my pups that taking them out all the time, and taking them places where they will see some action, i take mine out twice even 3 times a day, even if they dont catch anything just sighting and chasing rabbits, rats etc has really got them going.....also taking them out with dogs that are good workers has brought them on a lot aswell, learning and doing what the other dogs are doing

my bitch is just 7 months old I take her to a local farm everyday where she see's rats, rabbits and livestock, when I first started taking her she was scared of the livestock wasn't intrested in the rats/rabbits that was about 2 months ago. Its very fustrating when you want them to work or do something and they just roll over and piss, but now she's a different dog all together killing rats, hunting rabbits and totally ignore's the livestock and she is the only terrier Ive got so Ive had to start from scratch no dogs to show her the ropes

lean't from the lads/lasses on the forum dont rush things, keep calm and it will come
