please help poorly kit

checking the kits this mornin and found that one has a lump were its eye should be what could this be i cant see a slit for the eye at all the other eye look ok but they only nearly a week old but he is feeding ok by the looks and is strong what shall i do is there anythin i can do? :icon_redface:

personally mate i would either leave it and what happens happens or if it looks like something that could affect the others or that kit i would put it down dont know what other people think thats just my personal opinion

yer think the small one is the runt just cant seein it affecting the others as just looks like a sist or sumin simular but dont it will have a eye when its bigger and dont no if [NO TEXT TALK] will want it but if no1 does then it will stay with me as not to fussed on the poor little might

nothing you can do mate put it back and leave it.if it dies its for the best.imo i wouldnt be taking them out the nest anyway.if the rest are ok you can only wait and see.

the mum is fine with us taken them out but not sure weather to put it down or just leave it as it is still healthy and drinking fine

a one eyed fert can still be a good worker :victory: i had a kit born once without a back foot.was gonna kill it but some ferret rescue woman from england took it.was a healthy looking kit and im sure its doing ok lol

well thats up to you mate,but id leave it a week or so and see how it gets on,but if your gonna get shot of it.stubby gave me a bit of advice few year back.stick it in your freezer department on your fridge.it will pass away without to much stress to the wee bugger
