Bullmastiff X Bullgrey

Recommended Posts

I've been off work this week preparing for my second child to be born so have finally managed to get out with a camera and get some snaps of the pup.

Not everyone's cup of tea I know but for those that were interested.

She's coming on with her training well, with her retrieve being much better than I expected.

I haven't done any work with her at all as she's still far too puppish (she's still chasing crows and rooks across the field!

She's 9 month's old now and about 23-24"tts.

Her litter brother has gone more towards the Bull breed side and is turning into what looks like a Staffie on growth hormones!.

All the best

I really don't know! The only thing she's struck at is a Tennis ball! her speeds not too bad and a lot better than I expected. Her main job will be running on behind Roo and helping finish certain arguements quicker, so speed isn't really required.

The Farmer is pushing to get her working them already and wasn't happy when I told him it'll probably be another 12 month's until she can do that.

not a dog i would have, but i used to breed bullmastiffs years ago. And the breed was in a mess physically (H.D ,short lived, ...........) This dog looks a 100% healty+agile, compare'd to bullmastiffs+mastiffs of to day, which is good thing. But if i wanted a big+strong dog for bigger things than rabbits, i would have gone for a line bred bullxgrey of proven parents. not the above type dog.?

Bird, it was an accidental mating, by the time we realised Tia was pregnant it was too late.

I was looking at getting a replacement for Tia soon anyway so kept one of the pups to try out. I hope she pulls her weight and takes to work but if not then she'll just be a pet and I'll go for a decent bred halfcross.
