i think this is one of the most 50/50 fights in recent years. mitchell has stood up to his tests better and has had more of them, but both remain pretty untested at world level. they both also have nigh-on the same knockout rate, 74 and 75% respectively. its got the makings of a classic, it just depends on which is willing to take the risks to get the job done. i cant call it.

 

 

also, khan v malignaggi is on tomorrow night on itv for those who havent got sky. could also be a cracking fight, theyve already gone for eachother at the weigh-in. i know malignaggi has no power, but he can take a punch and does possess excellent speed and technique. the fearsome miguel cotto couldnt stop him, so if khan manages it, he'll have finally passed a real test. my hunch is khan's trademark swarm with a referees stoppage late in the fight, maybe round 9 or 10.

Kevins got a hard fight tonight ive got my doubts he will win but he,s a determined kid in great shape and theres no quit in him whatsoever....that alone gives him a decent chance.
