most of the regulars on here will remember my daughter shannon she's 13 and for the past few months she's only been plinking away at paper i wanted her to be ready before having ago at live targets. well she drops targets for fun now at 30mtrs so in my eyes she was ready to have ago at bunny bashing. 4 hours we were out and i never got to shoot my gun her 1st victim was a squeeler at a lazed 20mtrs with a little side wind and they dont come much sweeter than this

 

her 2nd was another squeeler at 24mtrs and again hitting the spot

her 3rd another squeeler was an unsupported 35mtrs kneeling shot i thought to myself she'll never hit this all you could see was the head how wrong was i

 

now by this time dad wanted ago but i was put straight in my place when she spotted an adult rabbit quiet a big buck just sitting out in the sun minding it own i lazed at 33mtrs she just dropped to prone didnt even put the bipods down as soon as i said 33mtrs bang the pellet at already gone hitting another perfect head shot

 

 

NOW she says i have to get my own gun lol :whistling:

I see your starting to take after your dad when it comes to being a super shot .

 

Just goes to show what a good teacher can pass onto a new hunter in regards to technique and aim point estimation etc.

 

I think that you better get to the gun shop now Gary and buy yourself a new rifle as you have just lost that one LOL.

well shannon weldone on your shooting bab and now you can show your dad just how its done now his let you off in the field with his gun ( or is it yours now ) gary say to the s510 matey because you will lose it for a good while yet matey i aint even got mine off my lad yet so i gave up and got him this s200 177 10 shot but no he wants to stick with my s410 and s400 and he said but congrat on that shannon very weldone bab and the first of many times out with ya dad
