jenksi87 3
thats made me think twice about kenneling 2 dogs together. i'm getting a new pup soon, a bullxgrey/whippetxgrey (bitch) and i was going to keep her with my jack russell bitch. she is used to being with other dogs and hasnt got a nasty bone in her. maybe its not such a good idea then????? stroller 341
i have 2 dogs and 2 bitches that are regularly kenneled together and never had anything approaching serious happen.....touch wood. about 20 years ago i kenneled 2 bitches one a 3/4 colliegrey and the other a 6 month old english bull there was no death but it was gruesome the lurcher was mangled. The pack structure is fluid so i guess you never know Quote Link to post
the_stig 6,614
never kennelled anything together in 30 year -- you just never know .. Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
Amazing how most folk say they,ve never had a skirmish whilst kenneling together.....then BOOM all hell breaks loose Simple answer is dont kennel together...all dogs/bitches need time on there own at some point and havin a kennel mate just doesnt allow that. Its usually a near fatality that makes folk wake up and smell the coffee. Kennel separate and save your dogs alot of stress...atb stabba Quote Link to post

littlefish 585
sorry to hear about that pal but you cant blame the dog, as dogs will be dogs. d and b fine but never same sex kenneling atb pal Does anyone else find it more harmonious to keep a dog and a bitch together? I have one of each and they seem to do ok. The bitch is the boss and the dog seems very accepting of this. Quote Link to post
