wirral countryman 2,110
best bitch I ever owned was a beardie collie/greyhound dog over a saluki grey bitch, this bitch has set the standard for every dog since,I bought her in 1981 from a lad in irlam, just outside manchester, she never let me down in the best of company,I ran her against good match dogs from over the water that people had paid top dollar for and she never let me down, rabbits were easy day and night, she took a while to get the hang of charlies but was a demon once she sussed how to get hold, she excelled on birds and was a good all round dog,I probably will never own a bitch as good as this again,I just regret not breeding off her,at the time good dogs were two a penny as only good dogs were bred off,not like now, there is so much sh*t about due to showing and too many amateur's that have never seen a decent dog run quarry that make a dog go the extra yard, atb, wirralman Quote Link to post
