Just thought all members would like to hear about my friends adventures with the Trapping game in Nebraska, America. He started Trapping in 1964 as a youngster. First of all having a little success with the Squirrels then progressing to Mink and other Varmints. Nowadays he controls the Coyotes, Raccoon, Skunks, and some times Bobcat. A friend in Arizona has a small pack of Hounds used for Hunting Black Bear. The Hounds consist of Walkers, Blue tick and English. They are superb on Bear and Mountain Lion also.....

I will try and get some photos for all members to see.

Best regards.

Hello all members,

Duck wing, Snake Dr. I've posted a photograph of my friend who lives in Arizona. He used to hunt Black Bear and Mountain Lion with his Hounds. However, after losing his best Dog called Bear he doesn't Hunt like he used to....... He still shoots Coyote and Bobcat . They are a 'Mormon' family and really love their Hunting. I will take some photos of the Mormon Missionaries and myself out Trapping in England. Perhaps just small types of quarry like Squirrels, Rats Stoats etc......

Been setting some Traps just recently. Mainly live catch for Rabbits and Squirrels. One set for the Rabbits, but had a cock Pheasant in the Trap! A Fox had dug underneath the Trap trying to get at the Pheasant. It always happens in these woods!

Best regards.

Hello Snake Dr,

Apologies I hit the wrong button so I'm rewriting the previous thread. I have 3 Russell type Terriers from our great friend the late 'Bert Gripton'. Tramp, Topsy and Thatch. Gripton was the finest man

we ever had the prilivage to meet. Regarding Terriers, hunting with Hounds and the countryside he had no equal. That is for sure! I will try and get some photos together.

Best regards.
