klashnekoff 3
Was walking the dogs earlier in my valley, Plenty of Roe and Muntjac in this valley, One of my Lurchers was in cover and came back munching on a muntjacs leg, By the size im judging it was a young munty, So my question is what predatates on young muntjac? We have sett loads of Black and whites around and one or two foxes , But not to many foxes as they are regually shot.

Foxes will prey on muntjac fawns but it could quite easily of died due to natural causes.........

ratattack 111
Many beasts and a bird like a buzzard could easily kill a munty fawn, they ain't much bigger than a rabbit/hare when young. Most likely died of natural causes.
