What predatates on young Muntjac?

Recommended Posts

Was walking the dogs earlier in my valley, Plenty of Roe and Muntjac in this valley, One of my Lurchers was in cover and came back munching on a muntjacs leg, By the size im judging it was a young munty, So my question is what predatates on young muntjac? We have sett loads of Black and whites around and one or two foxes , But not to many foxes as they are regually shot.

Foxes will prey on muntjac fawns but it could quite easily of died due to natural causes.........

im with the lata part, more than likely natural causes unless a tiny fawn or a bloody hungry fox.then again the fox take lamb often up north and wales but not here as theres enough gamebirds, moles, rats etc..
