herdwick 52
Went to see Joe Bonamassa last night. Much as I hate to admit it I have never seen anything like it. Was on stage for over 2 hours, at one time completely on his own, with an acoustic guitar.Did a 10 minute solo, absolutely amazing. Go and see him if you get a chance. inan 841
Wow! Thanks for all the replies This is a vague question but anybody recall a chap in the '70's (I think) that could make his guitar "talk"? Heard his stuff a few years ago but can't remember his name. Peter Drake,he covered the old Santo & Johnny number, "Sleep Walk".

bolio 49
This guy can hold an audience spellbound all night with no band and no electronic distortion, just a beat up old accustic. Eric Clapton, Les Paul, Joe Satriani and the legendary Chet Atkins have all been quoted as calling him the best they've seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&feature=related&hl=en-GB&v=hOw6gCPDEQ8 Edited May 31, 2010 by bolio
