went for acouple of hours this aftie to a very big place with a right ugly looking twat , to be honest it was shite and im not just saying that cos i got water licked myself, we fished for around 6 hours with only 2 jacks getting pulled out by gone bush and another pal with the biggest at 6lb, normaly if the pike arnt playing and you get abit desperate you can put a little spinner on and catch afew perch but even they weren't playing, think ile leave this place for acouple of weeks for the water to warm up as i find it better then, also there were 2 foreign fuckers fishing it and manage to catch one infront of us but after keeping a watch on them they decided to put it back, at least 2 got pulled out,

sounds good to me, the biggest ive had out of there was that 16lb'er other week and i have had a 14lb'er out about 4 year back and some other doubles, there mainly jacks you catch with the odd double that does come out and theres a pal that said he's had one at 18lb, ive seen some decent ones over the years sat in the sides, its a big place so i would of thought there could be some in the 20's but over the last few year theres been the foreigners fishing it,

Like i said before, i have been intimately aquainted with the water for twenty years and never seen anything as big as a twenty.The pike there are not "good" fish in so much as they never seem to be carrying much weight, always on the lean side, though i dont know why.

I can remember back n the early 90's when the"word" got out, like it does, and the place filled up with idiots trying their hand at piking and a great many fish died. People filled the spawning bays but they dare not unhook the pike, instead they would be battered to death. The piking suffered. Seeing grown men kicking poike up the beach because they dare not unhook then turns ones stomach.

Co, if i were you i wouldnt be putting revealing photos up as it will only ruin it for you mate, better to keep things to yourself in the piking world as you will loose out in the end......I have seen it all before....history repeats itself.

mums the word on the spot jd and we always return what we catch. if we see people kicking or clubing pike to death up there then we just might after start a kulling of are own if you know what i mean. atb

to be honest its been ruined for quite afew year, i first fished it about 12 year back and even then there were quite afew others fishing it, there seems to be alot more foreigners fishing the last few year aswell, if things happened like you said then itle take a while to get back to normal if it ever does, as for the pics i wouldnt say there giving too much away but if you picked up on it then prob afew others will too, from now on then ile try to take a better pic so no f****r guesses where it is i understand what your saying thou but i still say there could be a 20lb'er

ive had the odd doo gooder trying to move us on over the years but i dont think any of them had a beard, ile keep an eye out for that twat then, when i look back it use to be abit better then what it has been the last few years, itle be down to those foreigners, good anough for there motors targeted then, lets just hope it gets abit like how it use to be, thanks for the advice pal, ile introduce myself when i see you at any of the small shows, atb
