chartpolski 23,099
I would say use a coursing Greyhound..... but the simple fact is there are 1000 racing Greyhounds to every one, (genuine), Coursing Greyhound. Best of luck. Cheers. Quote Link to post
HBG 350
dont make any difference the greyhounds instinct is to chase so either one would do the job, most only go to the grey for the speed anyway Quote Link to post

NORELATION 6
track grey has better turn but coursing is bigger, faster, stronger Quote Link to post
cúagusgiorraí 57
I reckon the less weight the better, so I would go for a small greyhound track bitch. Quote Link to post
craigheff 12
track grey has better turn but coursing is bigger, faster, stronger coursing arent faster..track are faster but dont have as much stamina as the coursing..coursing bred hounds are bigger, stronger and dont injure as easily as the track hound....depends what you want mate... do you want lightly built dogs with more speed maybe a bit less stamina that may tend to injure easily? or do you want a slightly bigger dog with a bit more stamina, may not injure as easily but maybe not as fast? personaly i would go for the coursing hound as they may be alittle stronger..you wouldnt even notice the difference in speed when crossed.. atb mate Quote Link to post

boyo 1,398
imo it doesnt make a bit of differannce which type you use all greyhounds will give you the speed and the other half will give you what you want depending on the cross. Quote Link to post
NORELATION 6
If you were crossing terrier into a grey you might consider using a coursing dog to bring the size up. depends on quarry too. Quote Link to post
mossyh07 64
You won't go wrong with a nice little coursing bitch.. Some tidy little ones about with plenty of pace and gameness.. Quote Link to post

supersam 64
for reasons givin above id go for a coursing bitch. coursing dogs run on rougher ground and dont get as injured as much as track dogs running on a perfect surface,so with using a coursing bitch the pups are less likey to suffer foot injury,s,also will have more stamina and if your using these pups in the field then they will have plenty of speed for what you want best of luck Quote Link to post
