Stingray II .22 air Rifle

as the topic says how would you rate the webley Stingray II .22 air Rifle?

 

the reason for my question is that i am thinking of getting one for next season just for rabbits ?

 

 

so would this gun suit for what my choosen quarry is?

I had a Stingray , a Mk1 `Brum ` model tuned at SFS . More than enough for what you want mate .

My cousin had one of the older models in .177 before webley went bust. the blueing and stock was beautiful but the barrel was hard to break. It seemed to have alot of recoil and the spring was verry twangy

I have used a Webley Stingray version 2 mate and they are more than capable of taking any of the legal UK vermin.

 

The .22 version that I used was straight out the box less for about 500 practice pellets and was taking rabbits for me at 40 metres (43.7 yards) all day long from a static position sat in the seated HFT position.

 

If you were to get one tuned by Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports like Buster says then I would extend that range by another 5 to 10 metres easily.
