Sporting lucas terrier

Sorry if this has been covered before,

I was perusing the web when i came across this........

Sporting lucas

I thought the sporting lucas and lucas were the same thing a sort of ugly mongrel thing, but it seems its another of Mr Plummers creations,

I especially like the "process" bit..... Fell cross plummer back to a plummer then inbred... nice.

Anyone seen one?

Apparently they excel at bushing, rabbiting, retrieving etc and are not earth dogs. There is a kennel that runs them down our way. Idea with the sporting Lucas was to try and re create a working terrier from something that was heading showwards (not a word!)

Aprently the braes of derwent hunt used one I saw them at Bris and didnt like the rough hairs..but they do hunt well. I have seen the f1s hunt well..very well to well for the owner lol..as they buggered off rapid style.
