STOLEN

a mate of mine has had his 2 very well bred coursing type dogs stolen from the swindon area ... he only lives 2 mins off the M4 so they could be anywhere by now .. please keep an eye out and let me know if you come accross them. the fella is absolutely gutted as he has spent a lot of time on these dogs ..........

hope he gets them back there seems to be alot of working dogs going missing lately mostly from those in the coursing world it does make you think if the anti scum got something to do with it, as most are never found or heard of again.

This seems to happen at least once a week. I doubt it has anything to do with antis - its just that coursing dogs are of a relatively high profile and good breeding is hard to come by without cash or connections. Also those who are into coursing often meet up with folk for sport and also talk about their dogs and so can become a target. They are also the favored dog type of a certain unsavory section of our society as well as all the genuine coursing lads.

 

I really feel for you mate and it makes my blood boil that there seems to be no stopping this.

Socks, what were the circumstances to the theft of these 2 dogs?

 

somebody got into his back garden in the early hours of the morning and stole the dogs mate ........

We almost need a pinned thread 'what to do when your dog gets stolen' - it happens that often.

 

Spot on, and full circumstances on how the dog/s were taken, i.e forced entry, vehicle/s seen, jumped fence, gate to enter garden ect..... Patterns is the answer.
