3 brown trout

went out on sunday down to a local river for a few hours with the young fella. we were fishing for pike but no joy this time. nothing was happening so my son threw a worm on and within 10mins he had landed a brown trout just under a pound in a half. then he hit another 1 shortly after. 1 and 3/4lbs. i got jealous and set my rod up with a worm as well and instantly caught a brown 1 and 3/4lbs also. the young fella was well chuffed to say the least, so was i. on the pan tonight theyll go. all the best................ mudd dog..............

those must be stock fish mate the tails on them are knackered, is the river stocked ?

yeah i noticed that myself...the rivers stocked with rainbows but as far as i know not with brown trout mate.
