Got to laugh...pulling up threads from 10 yrs back ...in the hope some mug blows some smoke up his arse? If he was the real deal...then he wouldn't of had a 10 yr break... dogs are a way of life

Why try to re-invent the wheel ? If someone wants a dog that's bigger than a whippet, smaller than a greyhound, has insane speed and would be fine for a couple of runs on hares , get a non-ped !

I never have when I've been on the fen...Yeh walk all day...but plenty of stop time whilst watching the dogs run

Probably Done a lot more miles and with dogs than you mate in all honesty  not blowing my old trumpet here well not much ??

what do you think you covered mate in the 7 hours i never relised it was that far until me pal who was in army brought all the gadgets first season out he said its good walking this we done about 20 mile next time clocked it he was bang on lol

I would think below 10...

I know few spots local to me I might spend 2-3 hours looking for runs...and I dowt I do more than 4 miles there...I've had 5..6 runs in that time then home..

I would think walking 20 miles for your runs ..

I would want to walk better land with more hares per acre

be me 2 dogs me mate 1 dog there be plenty early season mate but winter only very very good dogs will  stop em mate you wont get a kick up or any go over fast 

i have land were i do 10 mile or so mate 

10 miles i recon if you clocked yourself youd do that lamping quick

A 30 mile walk would be impossible in much of Southern England....back in the day,..it was always, 'light on, light off'...anything else would get you in a fight or in the jail....Freelancing is a dangerous game, and folk that think it is all fun and games, need to give their heads a shake....?
