Go back far enough, and it'll be in practically all whippets that are about today. @poxon My son's current whippet is 'cyangrange' prefix, but has collooney, oakbark, laguna and a few others in his pedigree. If you go back far enough, and check up on stanley s wilkin, 'tiptree', that'll give you plenty of info about the bloodlines etc. Yours in whippets, shaaark lol Edited June 1, 2021 by shaaark 2 1 Quote Link to post

I think I’d go for a dog some of them bitchs can be small an weedy id want him a dog something 20-21tts plus can’t be doing with them small dogs how often they come in season it’d be annoying for him if the bitch is a every 6monther that it was to breakdown Quote Link to post

Plenty of whippets, dogs and bitches well over 20". Seem to be more common in the south of the country for some reason. Smallest bitch I've owned was 20 1/2". Oh yeah, forgot to say, he also has a whippet bitch, 21" 3 years old. She comes in season once a year. Edited June 1, 2021 by shaaark 1 Quote Link to post

She comes in season once a year. you need that bit of height for running. my little beddywhippet is 18 1 /2tts.she thrives in hedgerows, brambles, ditches, etc. but straight running she certainly lacks gears. often in rough ground gets unsighted. that's why I am having a pup to work alongside her. choice is a whippet or breed my own three quarter cross. 4 Quote Link to post
