black ferrets???

I bought a couple of black ferret kits off James McKay at the Midland Game Fair 3 or 4 years ago - he had bred them himself I think. In bright sunlight you could make out that they had black markings on an almost black body, but in normal light they just looked all black. They were also mental.

Where you from mate? as i got one in my rescue bout 4 yr ago from a guy who got it also from james McKay at the midlands gamefair, it was a mega nasty thybrid and to this day still is i handed it over to one of my friends whe deals with hybrids and he said he cant tame this one down, despite her young being 80% easy to handle.

the black ferret is just a heavily marked poley someone once tryed to sell me a mink as a black ferret lol there are some tryers out there, i also know a fella tryed to breed a ferret with a stoat but had no luck as the stoat killed the jill but to answer your question it a heavily marked poley and should not be sold as a black ferret in my opinion

I just call mine dark polecats, simply no such thing as a black self ferret. Mind you ,you can get some very dark ones.

no matter how dark you get them they will alway have a white or cream bit around there mouth.
