paulredtop 8
The finest crisps in the known universe were Smith's plain. When I were a lad (cue groans) I spent many a lunchtime sitting in the back of the Dad's Austin 7 with my kid bro. The Dad got us a packet of Smiths and a bottle of Vimto apiece, and buggered off into the pub with the Mam. The exciting bit was, every so often you'd get two goes of salt. It was wrapped in a twist of blue waxed paper, bit like a gram wrap, not that I'd know. If you got two - LUXRY! Sprinkle it all over then when you'd et all the crisps tear open the pack and LICK ALL THE SALT UP! Me and my kid had some serious fights about who owned the second lot of salt. Bruk a seat once. Serious clips round the ear'ole time. Those were the days . . . . Ric bloomin eck forgot about those they still do them just under the walkers name mate but nothing beats these used to be in sainsburys aint seen them for months Edited May 10, 2010 by paulredtop
