JohnGalway 1,043
Been out feeding some of Dads sheep. We've finished up feeding the hoggets for the year so I brought along the .223 to see if anything would happen my way. Played cat and mouse with a few greycrows, the place is very open so it's hard to get near them if you're just out for a walk. I was heading back to the car and only just about eye level with the final hill when I spied a greycrow perched on a nice safe fence stake. I dropped as quick as I could as the crow was looking the wrong way, moved to my left and crawled up the hillock. A boom, a pop!, and a somersault later this guy won't be pecking at any more lambs.
