JohnGalway 1,043
Ever since I bought some barley last year I've been busy ratting with live catch cages. Got fed up of that craic so I deployed two fenns and a kania. All baited with a mixture of barley and peanut butter. Keep having to remind myself to be careful with the fenns, not used to using spring traps! Halls soothers won't help this guy. Quote Link to post
mexlad 189
well done mate.....aye got to watch your dannys with the fenns Quote Link to post
JohnGalway 1,043
When I got them I tested both traps out with the end of a brush handle. When I saw how far the killing bar on the Kania sunk into that handle, well, I don't need to remember to be careful with that yoke I'm very happy with my first ratty in the fenn Quote Link to post
JohnGalway 1,043
Thanks for that CW, I didn't know it might damage them. Don't think anything got bent, but I will check them just to make sure Quote Link to post
