Labour Mp in local anti hunting press shoot with fox cubs

Recommended Posts

David Drew Labour MP of stroud was in the local paper holding some fox cubs saying how much he wants to defend the hunting act and voting conservative would put th act at risk, Few days pass and the local people hounded him out of parliment and replaced him with a nice new conservative MP, Same with many local areas alot of anti hunting Mps with been ousted and replaced, could this be good news for the hunting act repeal, or could this hung parliment malarky be getting in the way slightly?

I doubt it will ever happen to be honest.

I firmly belive there will be a vote as long as theres Tory Power, Maybe not anytime soon beacuse there is far more inmportance in fixing a broken country (after years of Labour) than worrying about hunting, Alough its a very big concern for many if not most tory Mps.

Maybe give it some time and the hunting act will be replealed, I firmly belive this will be the case,But like ive said give it some time.

The anti mp's that have lost their seats are one less vote for keeping the ban when it comes to a vote

I think its clear alot of anti hunting Mps have been hounded out of parliment. However there is still a few left. This is infomation i have taken from the lacs website which shows there are still alot of anti hunting mps left.

- 251 MPs support repeal of the Hunting Act

- 254 MPs do not support repeal of the Hunting Act

- 6 MPs would abstain on a free vote

- 35 MPs have unknown positions on repeal of the Hunting Act
