Over in America it is always the liberals that want to take away hunting or gun ownership rights. It's always the liberals that want law's to protect Illegal aliens. It's always the liberals that want to protect the Islamic's..... It's always the liberals that want Christianity banned in our schools.... It's always the liberals that want to make gay marrige legalized. It's always the liberals who want to increase tax's to pay for bigger government! It's always the liberals who want to make every thing fair.....By taking my rights away and giving away my hard earned money.... FAIR is just another word for mediocre or half arssed... If they reversed it i think there would be a spate of shootings for the first couple of years, then they would ban it before things leveled out and people adapted and it became safer. thats the problem with our country, knee jerk reactions to control everything. Look at that meow meow drug, 'suspected' of killing a couple of people and now it banned, how many people die from smoking, drink etc a year? Alot more than 2! As for the comments about it being easier for chavs to get a gun .. open your eyes .. try living on just about any council estate in britian .. a few hundred quid will get you a gun within a couple of hours .. providing your not a law abiding citizen. I can understand where you are coming from as almost all the wars in history have been fought over religion. And I assume you don't believe in Santa Clause either. Fortunately America was founded on religious freedom, our founding fathers left places like England because of religious persecution... There comes a time when a man/country has to come down off the fence and pick a side. I would rather be a Christian than a Muslim. As it stand's now Christianity is not forced on our children in the public schools and religion is taught as a subject all inclusive of all religions in a historical manner. Over % of Americans are Christians - I don't see Iraq banning their religion - if you tried you would be beheaded on the internet as an infidel! The liberals want just Christianity banned to give Islamic and other radical ideals free run with no opposition..... Are you Agnostic or an Atheist? Just curious! But not the law abiding "subject" .... That makes sense because now the law abiding "subjects'' are "subjected" to just about anything that the criminal & authorities or "criminal authority" want to do....That is the lesson we learned from the Redcoats and that's why we included the right to keep and bear arms in our constitution - THANKS!
