Hollie 21
I have a cat that comes into my garden and it is MENTAL, the amount of times i have had to go up and try to scare it off because it is just sitting there going scatty at my dogs, causing them to be noisy, i have tried to push it away with my foot and a broom handle and it just attacks you, honestly it is bloody mad and could cause alot of damage, now i just throw water over it, it does run off now but still hisses and spits at me, my dogs are annoyed by it but wary, im sure there are dogs that would see it off for good but mine just dont have it in them and i dont blame them, it would rip them to shreds!!! Hannah4181 260
My lurcher was battered by a cat when he was a tiny pup . . .. won't even look at them now, he'll do a huge arc to avoid walking near !! My Dalmation X will chase them for fun, and then dance around like a loony ninja avoiding its strikes! My JRT however will chase, catch and if given the chance kill them. I will add he has never been given the chance. I'm lucky that i have about 5 houses after mine before its open countryside, so he's on a lead till we pass the houses and the problem is avoided. I find it disgusting when tossers on here brag about their dogs killing pet cats, like them or loath them its someones pet, and IMO it says a lot about you as a person if you allow your dogs to act in such a way. :wankerzo4:

SNAP SHOT 194
i thought it was a big cat account, i may be a sad twat but i couldn't watch past 5 or so seconds of that, its the nature of the animal, So no fault to them, think a warning with that link would of been appropriate though..... bullmastiff 615
Does no one break their dogs to cats? Saves A LOT of hassle. atb Jai. Some of us can't, they have ferals on one of the farms I hunt that regularly need removing, I'm expected to be able to control them. Using the dogs to either tree them where they can be shot, or catching and killing them. Unfortunately the dogs can't tell the differance between a pet and a feral. Your right Hollie, it's surprising how much damage they could do if not dealt with quickly Edited May 7, 2010 by bullmastiff
SHOTGUNSNIPER 47
Dog , Cat , Pig's, Goats should not be allowed to stray - This is how invasive non native species are introduced. Stray/Feral cat's are vermin and should not be tolerated simply because they are cut or considered to be ratters.... Stray dog's are picked up regularly by our dog catcher and put in the dog pound and if they aren't adopted then they are put down. Ferral cat's meet the same fate if captured by the Animal Control Police... I have had pet cat's that are kept in the house. If the dogs were at large that is wrong - There is no excuse for the cat it should have be in a cadge , tethered or kept indoors... As Tweety Bird would say - " I TOT I SAW A PUDDY TAT" (MY JACK RUSSEL CAN KILL ONE FASTER THAN THAT!) SGS

Oh and i am very aware of the difference between dogs and children . . . . . just unsure of the relevance to it here?
