kit selection

hi all.

thought you may be interestd to see some of my kit.

the first pics of the toy,opps i mean kit draw under the bed.

12 houer glowsticks (good for shooting at at night) for around camp.

black widow catapult (used to hunt with this a bit)

large hunting knife

cooking pot

face paint

pellets

allen keys

suervival knife,with catapult fishing lines refelctor plate compass sharpening stone,whistel

throwing knives 9 off (like a bit of knife throwing while camping,or any other time for that matter)

camp axe, also weighted nicely for throwing..

2x crkt knives,one seratted on not, my main working knives

small crkt knife

boot knife.

dont worrie it dont all go with me when camping. on a normal camping trip one off the crkt knives the axe couple of glowsticks pellets and allen keys go. oh and the cooking pots,if there luckey.

and the odvious one that goes. the s300

hears the nbc suit that i wear could find the matching came top for the pic so the olive green ones in there. and a camo jacket that i wear underneath, as the nbc can get a little warm.

one of my favoret bit of kit is the ww2 german snipers sleeping bag. its warm as hell and upon wakeing in the morn can zip open the bottom pull your legs out and tie it up around you waist has arms in it and full hood, spot on for lieing in the hedge bottom, tough as old boots to and water proof. i have been known to go camping with just this as im not a fan of tents.

i know some people will say things about the camo pattern but this works for me.

feelfree to comment good or bad, i have thick skin and wont be offended.

oh and if im just going for a quick mooch around it crkt knife nbc and gun.

survivalist.. you might say.

 

was raised in the woods and its in my vains. grandad was in the war,dad spent all his time in the woods think it may have rubbed off a little.

 

when the sholder was knackerd a few years bk i couldent hold the gun for long or pull the strings on the catapult, so there was only one thing for it, hunting with the axe. have always thrown axes and knifes so it wasent to much of a stretch, learned alot about stalking that summer as was having to get close..

 

as said above i dont like tents as im more of a fan of the idea if i need a shelter that much ill make one.

 

makes me laugh when you see people going camping with car boots full of kit. stove, air bed,kitched sink,cuttelry draw,touches,ect ect. cant deal with it my self. if it dont fit in the bag it ant going an thats at a push..

so if will change your name in my phone now to GI ROSSY i am the same i am a little busy in the morning i have a new toy coming and then a mink job on at 13.00hrs so the live traps are out unless i spot them first but i will put some stuff together what i take shooting if out for a while i'll get a little picture up now for ya just a few little bits

We used to call sleeping bag's.... slug's

Because when wrapped up in one.....you used to look like a big green slug on the deck.

hi there mate i re read your post yesterday and realised i was being a bit thick. :oops:

there quite cheep on ebay now, however myn is one peice,not two like the one i found on ebay. worth its weight in gold. would tell any one to get one, only thing i would say is they do make a little bit of noise...

but yah look like a slug with arms.lol

lol yah have been called a few things along them lines befor pal.

and nice to see some one is still with the old web tempest, was always a fan of the nemisis myself.. had a nice web permier the other day.good condision can go for alot to a collector.sold it for 50. very similer to the tempest..good little shooters, stand the test of time very well..will pm you about the gun bags mate. was a little bussy yesterday,

some nice kit there mate. what makes the knife? (another on of my little passions)

ive had all sorts of knives over the years, but nowadays i've gotm a high carbon steel mora clipper. bloody brilliant for a tenner they are, specially if you make/buy a leather sheath for em. i'll post up a piccy of the toybox later if i've time...
