irishnut 297 Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 im thinking about getting a small camper/mpv, i've seen the bongos, they look the part, seem to hold their money well and are usually very clean and tidy. i was wondering if anyone could advise me on them, i've done a bit of research into them, but im none wiser, basically what i want to know is, which do i get 2L, 2.5L petrol or 2.5 tdi, then manual or auto, 4wd or 2wd, tin top or lift up. any advise is good cheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
yoggerman 5 Posted May 12, 2010 Report Share Posted May 12, 2010 hi mate i had 4x4 hard-top auto diesel for about a year and couldnt fault it drove better than a car and mine was the 8 seater mpv not the camper type it was used everyday as our main family car..... a bit juicy but not as bad as a trooper or shogun mine was simialar to this Quote Link to post Share on other sites
antg 1,777 Posted May 22, 2010 Report Share Posted May 22, 2010 had one the same as above. really liked it. was a bit thirsty but was really nice to drive. go for the 2.5td with the manual box if you can find one. most are automatic. oh and if your going to keep it for any length of time make sure you get it undersealed and wax oiled. there jap imports and non have being done when they first come in Quote Link to post Share on other sites
