Water Badger 26 Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 easy enough you just have to have them set correct you have a small setting on the side usualy under the drag you need to set this so that when yo disingage the spool (into free spool) holding the rod infront of you pointing to 11 o clock when the lure or weight hiths the water it stops spilling line. to get even better performance adjust the breaks this means stripping the reel best to take to dealer or do with an experienced angler. ensure that at the end of the cast you slow the line speed befor the bait hits the water by dabing a thumb on the spool to stop overuns Quote Link to post

Water Badger 26 Posted May 6, 2010 Report Share Posted May 6, 2010 once you take the srews out the end you have a what looks like a ships wheel with small plastic barrels on the spokes just flick em out with you finger my mate did my last in the carpark ney bother though i got a shimano calais on a loomis and can easily out cast fixed spools Quote Link to post
