Ken Loach's film Kes from 1969 ( I was 12 years old then ) is now out on youTube its a cracking film and got some of us older guy's into an interest in Falconry Its about a young lad in Barnsly who obtains a kestrel and spend's a season manning it

I must have read that book a dozen times when I was young...And I didnt even know about the film until a few years ago, Its not often the film lives up to a book, but that one certainly did
