Nipped in for a quicky

Recommended Posts

Yesterday at tea time saw me going to the local pet shop for more dog food, thought i`d take the experienced bitch and young bitch to call at a disused farm on the way back to do a bit of ratting. This is the 3rd time the young bitch has been out. First time out she felt out of place and in the way and felt uneasy with the machine and bodies flying about all over the place. Second time saw her running around like everybody else but didnt know why. This time round the penny had dropped as she bent over backwards to get to her rats. Although we missed more than we caught it didnt matter as it was entertaining to watch and more experience for the bitch. I have high hopes for her, she alone managed 2 small and 1 large adult rats, I was well pleased with her. After tea I met my mate at the pig farm to do a spot of shooting, although it wasnt one of the better nights we had a few between us. Was well pleased though with the rat snares I set down as copied off G Waters. In all a very eventfull evening, may there be many more.
