Hi all has anyone on the site tried them new CCI.22LR segmented subsonic bullets yet ?

they apparently have a head that breaks up into 3 peices on impact giving good stopping power and being they break up

on impact stops ricochets which would be very handy for a couple of places that we lamp just wanted to get some feedback on

them before we bought a load

Hi.

Been in touch with a couple of lads from the USA who have tried them but don't like them, they say that the accuracy is crap, which fits in with what a few pals and I have found with CCI's over here. Also if you are using a CZ we found that they don't chamber very well.

I was also wondering about these....but i have tried CCI in thr past and as above found it sh*t....i had a thread asking who uses what a while ago, and most people either used winchester, RWS or Eley.....if it aint broke, don't fix it!

yeh we normaly use winchester subsonics but a bullet with no ricochet sounds tempting cos rimfires are a bas**rd for ricochets

I feed my CZ on Eley subsonic. I found Winchester were giving fliers ever now and then. So far the Eleys ammo has proven top notch. I used to use Winchester T22's not sure if they still make them but that was good ammo.

A few pals and I only use Eley subs, not found any to beat them yet.
