adam scott 1
hello, i have in my possesion some prometheus pellets! some my old man gave me, some i bought! has anyone one else used them?? if so... how did u get on?? what did you use them for?? (i thought perhaps rabbits, but i have been getting on really well with h points.) did u have any trouble zeroing your sights?? i found the pellet to be unpredictable! i took one or two shots, moved my sight's slightly then the next shot moved around 6-8" right. i took another shot without moving my sights and the pellet landed left!! strange! mygun is but a year old. it is also really consistant with lead pellets! any help guys?? here they are. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Prometheus-Hunting...s/dp/B001G1T7GA Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. I've never found a gun that likes them or heard of anyone's that does. Can't believe they still make the bloody things... The Dynamics on the other hand tend to be far better, my HW90, Diana52 and Webley Xocet all shoot very well with them. Cheers. Quote Link to post
kurtrog70 6
i have a webley xocet .22 they shot okay at about 15-20 yards other than that they were crap. also shot in .177 with my airarms 510 and they are no good what so ever. I have also heard that they leave a plastic coating in the barrel after being fired down the barrel? (dont know if that true) but i would never buy them again or recomend them! I had an many moons ago and it hated them. Just goes to show how even guns of the same type don't always like the same ammo. Cheers. Quote Link to post
ulverston moocher 60
to be truthfull andy any thing proberbly seemed excellent back then when all I could get hold of around us were marksman and bulldogs but the hw80 did seem to perform well and was kicking out quite a bit more power using them. sascha 7
my old s410 barrel was caked in yellow melted plastic, didnt break the gun just a twat to get out of the barrel, didnt find them accurate, so switched back to lazapell. now have new s510 and s200, s510 i use accupell, in the 200 i use logun penertrator, similar to prometeus but have a metal skirt instead of plastic Quote Link to post

Dynamic's are made from tin. The old style Prometheus have a steel core with a nylon outer. Quote Link to post
