Catcher 1 639
i think you'll find pal luton tried it with millwall when they both clashed inside the ground. if lads still wanna get involved in the business its their choice but shouldn't do it where women and kids are i.e football stadiums. I hate to admit it....but i was there that night ....Luton didnt get over run by Millwall that night they got over run by London !....there was West Ham Millwall Chelsea Charlton even Orient took a handful !.... I suppose your right if lads still want to do it thats their choice, they will learn how pathetic it all is just as the generation before them have !...the difference is we did it back then for a laugh and the pure adrenalin of it all.....nowdays the kids are watching films and reading books thinking its " cool ".....same outcome just a different reason. Agree mate my son watches all that shit.I was at the 1980 Celtic and Rangers Cup final at Hampden THAT WAS THE BAD OLD DAYS.ATB. Catcher

gnasher16 30,174
Back in the 70,s and ,s it was all in its infancy,in fact it was all quite innocent...boys will fight other boys, estates fight other estates, areas fight other areas and so on football was no different.....it was fun even though nobody really knew what they was doing it was just good rivalry and days out. Today its a load of mickey mouse bollocks ! trying to pretend its hi tec ....why use mobile phones to arrange to meet on the night of a big football match where hundreds of police are going to be,it dont take a clever person to work out that half these idiots rely on the police to break it up NOT evade them. Arrange your meets for a sunday morning somewhere quiet.....no thats far too risky somebody might get hurt At least when we was being dopey idiots we knew we was being dopey idiots

zigzag dan 784
As someone who was jailed in 1988 after the operation the police did on us at Wolves it makes me smile when 100 lads shout abuse at 100 lads with 200 police between them , as has been said thats what happens in films and no one gets hurt when theres those numbers .The proper rows when it gets naughty are when unexpectadly , 30 of you meet 30 of them with no old bill about ! This is when the men stand and the kids run ! The 80s was great but now cctv has stopped it , Wolves still get the old heads out for the big games but apart from Spurs who are respected by us , its left to the kids to run round the town !!! dean1 46
What a bunch of fannies doing that to a little family club like York City !....id like to see them try that with the Cardiffs,Millwalls,Wolves,West Hams,Tottenhams of this world.....Luton seem to think if they bash over a few little family clubs it makes up for what Millwall did to them in 85. iv gotta say gnasher thats the biggest load of bollocks youv ever posted !
