i dont think it is. I go to the game quite often and was a season ticket holder at OT until a couple of years ago and the police presence is so high that opposing fans dont even get near each other. Especially when liverpool come to town!! I think its more prominent in lower leagues were the police presence isnt as high due to cost.

you always get a few rucks but that to be expected! nbo were near the level it was in the 70s and 80s though

a couple of weeks ago 13 wednesday fans were put in jail for a a total of 30yrs for beating some leeds fans up on train. Even though the leeds was called it on and through first punches they got away with it scott free.

What a bunch of fannies doing that to a little family club like York City !....id like to see them try that with the Cardiffs,Millwalls,Wolves,West Hams,Tottenhams of this world.....Luton seem to think if they bash over a few little family clubs it makes up for what Millwall did to them in 85....

The footie was a good crack back then but its all finished now,any idiot whos willing to get a lifetime ban from every ground in the country and a prison sentance for having a laugh and a ruck is not the full shilling if you ask me.

i think you'll find pal luton tried it with millwall when they both clashed inside the ground. if lads still wanna get involved in the business its their choice but shouldn't do it where women and kids are i.e football stadiums.

I hate to admit it....but i was there that night :icon_redface: ....Luton didnt get over run by Millwall that night they got over run by London !....there was West Ham Millwall Chelsea Charlton even Orient took a handful !....

I suppose your right if lads still want to do it thats their choice, they will learn how pathetic it all is just as the generation before them have !...the difference is we did it back then for a laugh and the pure adrenalin of it all.....nowdays the kids are watching films and reading books thinking its " cool ".....same outcome just a different reason.
