Bang out of ORDER but it dosen't help PLASTERING IT ON HERE more FUEL FOR THE ANTIS diablo.gifdiablo.gifdiablo.gif

I know what your saying topnotch but there are a lot of lads on here that post about summer hunting, and on the lurcher side of things too, that are congratulated and praise heaped upon them,a little condemnation occassionally by the older more experienced lads on here may help to keep our way of life a little longer, I think there's already more than enough fuel for the anti's on here and us lads that speak out or criticise can only make them realise that there are responsible people prepared to speak up for the future of our sport, control from within and healthy debate via this forum is the positive way forward, atb, wirralman

To be fair the antis only do our sport half the damage that these so called terrier men / lurcher men do. It's funny cos since the ban i've noticed a massive rise in people interested in hunting fox, hare, deer etc with dogs (digging or coursing) and a huge number of these folk that have newly arrived on the scene (just cos it was on the news and its now illegal) are a f*cking disgrace.

It will be them and not the antis or the ban that finally kills our sport. They are the ones who dig, lamp and shoot all summer, calling it 'pest control' cos it makes them feel superior (discounting those that genuinely have to do pest control) and then stick up a post on here asking for permission cos they have cleared theirs out. Or even worse they then come on your land and f**k that up to!

Makes my blood f*cking boil, and if i'm lucky/unlucky enough to catch someone poaching my bit in winter they get a talking to, if its summer they get the bat. Simple as.

I love to hunt, and to hunt everyday i need to respect the quarry and the land, even whilst doing neccesary pest control. If i dont, then what the f*ck are my kids and grandkids going to hunt?

We should start some kind of campaign to expell all of these pricks from our sport.

Approach them with a couple of friends and have a stern word. Need to protect out sport, can't just stand by and do f**k all, especially if you know who they are and what they do.

Your right mate. I just meant that if someone didnt sell them a decent terrier they would just buy a lurcher, gun, ferret, lowered white vauxhall nova or something else and be an equally big pain in the f*cking arse.

And yes - i would NEVER sell/give a pup to anyone i didnt respect and who i wouldnt be able to keep tabs on. And if they turned out to abuse it or use it in a negative way then i'd have it back straight away even if i had to do it by force.

One thing i've noticed - these kind of lads VERY rarely live in the countryside and hunt where they live. They usually live in town and come out here to dig, and they treat it like a ram raid. Not that everyone from a town is like that obviously. But you know the type i mean . . .
