Kane in one sense i agree with you , but for those getting into the game or looking for a stud they only have to look at this tread to know the name meeks and showing are the same, those with the most knowledge on his dogs talk shows the the question was...."more importantly is this dog a genuine worker are we going to be flooded by more show shit when this dog goes over numerous bitches"

i think anyone can now work out the answer :11:

Kane maybe youd be better of naming the blood that you should look for in a dog that you want for working instead of ones you should stay clear of save you time on typing it up.

I agree with CARREG , the most entertaining thing at any show are the handlers.

I always watch crufts when its on telly just to see the handlers, not the dogs trotting around the ring.

Overweight ladies in tight fitting trousersuits running around the ring, there's never a pound in the right place   :haha::haha:

Pat,as its middle of may I have time on my hands, dogs get a rest quarry(unless call outs)gets a rest. All I would say to a new comer is do your home work. Not being lucky enough to be born into working dogs and having to find things out the hard way probably has something to do with my contempt for those that use their name and positions to rip off newcomers.Common sense would probably tell you that a dog being openly advertised in the countrymaids weekly(pics and all)would definatly be one to keep away from your honest working bitches.

Needless to say that my "Show" bred terrier has been ok...but she has NO WAY near been tested...she will be two this june/july...

I have luckily spoken to some REAL terrier men about maybe getting future terriers from back home, and they have been kind enough to not forget about me when theres a decent litter about...Would i want a terrier now?...FORGET IT!...whats the point in having a terrier if you cant test it....but we are moving to Missouri in the near future, so i will be wanting a few more terriers...but i will be able to test them then, so it wont be a problem...all the best to those that dig there dogs!
