fmwtc 12 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 im ny garden on the kennel block i have a bird box and this yr the blue tits have made it home and every morning you have seen em coming and going i have just been washing some pots up and looked out and the blue tits are mobbing two sparrows who are taking turns to go in the box now the tits have gone and it looks as if the sparrows have taken over one is sat in the entry hole and the other sat above on the roof both the sparows are males anyone any idea i felt like shooting the pair of em not that i would of course Quote Link to post Share on other sites

fmwtc 12 Posted May 2, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2010 firstly thanks for the replies not sure wat tree spuggies are but ill check them out shortly these are definatly house sparrows i did hear jd that they were getting scarce but we seem to have loads of em here and about the farm i always make sure they are fed well as well during winter as i enjoy the wild birds we have local to us as for the wife doing any washing up waz she is at badminton horse trials and has left me with the remaining horses to do the kids and the dogs the selfish bitch lol ill voice my complaints tohugh especially when i get my bank statement back these horses have become the most dearest non participating activity i have ever taken part in and i can teven feed the old ens to the hounds selfish id call it lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
