Not fighting Castillo obviously, but his style? Seeing as the first Castillo fight was by far Mayweather's hardest fight (some folk say the De La Hoya fight too)?? Cant im too embarrassed to say ....i,ll let you know after may 15th I believe the style to beat Mayweather is somebody with similar speed and enough power and accuracy to throw him out of his comfort zone....Mayweather is an unusual fighter who can fight just as well off the back foot as he can off the front and doesnt need the centre of the ring to control a fight,couple that with his handspeed and reflexes,and he makes for a very hard man to beat,but he does have weaknesses,this habit of pulling his head away and raising his shoulder to block punches is relying solely on good reflexes and not basic defensive ability.Under the right pressure i feel that might be his undoing....but who knows. As for piss and blood tests Mayweather is 100 % right for insisting on them and should not take the fight until Paquiao is made to play by the same rules as the rest of the boxing world.Personally i think Paquiao would have a good chance against Mayweather for the reasons i just mentioned. gonetoearth 5,144 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 mayweather is good very good in fact , The yanks have a nack of produceing a class boxer or two every decade ,mayweather is streets ahead of any european or american fighters at the moment he craves the the status of sugar ray, duran, hearns, dela,hoya, his nemasis stands in his way ,The pacman the money man has to fight him or he will not achieve the title best pound for pound fighter of his generation , the money men will make this fight happen there allready talking 40 million purse for mayweather ,manni is a differant act though he can box and fight his work rate is incredible his defence class and he has a chin to match his ability this one i would not miss for the world exept if the waterloo cup comes back on the same day Quote Link to post Share on other sites

He can read a fighter after a round or two then once he gets to grips with an opponents style, he adjusts and does what he needs to do to win. If anyone is going to beat him then it'll be PacMan, but still I wouldn't be confident in predicting a PacMan win. Theres nothing more I'd love to see in Boxing other than seeing Amir Khan smashed to bits in a round again, than seeing Mayweather beaten, but I just think Mayweather is too good.
