JackReid 35
Is there quite a difference between firing whilst leaning on bipod and free hand in terms of POI? Gas ram isnt it??? Good work Jack Quote Link to post

LOGUNSOLO177 0
Is there quite a difference between firing whilst leaning on bipod and free hand in terms of POI? Gas ram isnt it??? Good work Jack Cheers Guys!! My mate who I bought it off wants it back now haha!! Yea Its a Gas Ram, put about 100 pellets through her last night and the groups were improving been a while since I shot anything that recoils. Its not to bad on the bipod but I think there might be a POI differance when holding the rifle but I am off to good sized permission tomorrow weather permitting and I will be able to have alot more practice on our range gona be a long day of target shooting my arm will be killing me haha!! and I will let you know what any things I find out. LOGUNSOLO177 0
Got out today to on our range!! The day started great with amazing weather and little wind things couldnt look better!! Had set the gun to arround 11.5ftb on sataday night and the accuracy looked promising!! Chronoed the gun this morning before we set off and it had risen to 12.5ftb whaaaat!!! !! so I tapped some more air out of the rifle and chronoed it at 9.8ftlb but as our lift had arrived I thought that would be ok for a day of target shooting and that I could pump it up a tad later on. But because we rushed off I forgot the pump !! Got settled and after about 20 shots it became obvious that the gun did not like that low power level as I could not get any groups together at all!! It was all over the place tried everthing off the bipod everything!! It was especially annoying because on sataday night the gun was grouping great !! Still a good day out in the sun but more time on the range needed........ and I aint complaining about that hahaha!! Quote Link to post

targa 5
Nice guns these HW90's, own a .22 too. Mine is a FAC and gives me around 20ftlbs with the gasram pumped at 23Bar. Very good hunting tool, very accurate and trusty. Shot hundreds of feral pigeons with it, also a lorryload of rabbits. It never failed on me. Quote Link to post
