J Darcy 5,871
Many years ago i had a red nosed russel type called Lucy. She was my best mate and we had some brilliant times together. When i got her she was petrified of sticks, obviously been beaten by the wankers that had owned her. Even after many years of a loving home she was still scared of sticks. We walked everywhere together and she rarely needed a lead. We were as one. I knew what she was thinking and, it seemed , vice versa. She was a part of my life in that period and i swear i wouldn't have taken 10K for her.You see, you cannot put a price on love. In the end she was PTS at the vets and i wasnt pleased. And so, for me, ended an era. For me. Even though she was a ten minute wonder she served me well and i can honestly say that no terrier i have owned will get the work i gave her. Maybe one day me and the old girl will be re-united. I have lots to tell her. Quote Link to post
