tb25 4,627
I wondered why the you had so many choccy's in your kennels Buster, you bloody show pony... To be honest mate i was gutted, i have said before and i'll say it again "i will not intentionally keep a choc pup again" only this time i've got no choice. I'm sick of the chocolate bug thats kicking about and i wouldn't throw anymore fuel on the fire, it's all black for me if given the choice would you get rid mate if the choc dog worked well. no Quote Link to post

At the risk of sounding like a twat, i've got a yard full of chocs that work, so stop trying to get all defencive over the first choc you've ever had. The fact is theres so many chocs being bred purely for there cuolor these days that i don't want to add fuel to the fire by producing even more of them. I wasn't knocking them as that would be stupid, it's the same family of dogs just a different cuolor. Quote Link to post

richc12 84
I've got two litters on at the minute and the costs are mounting all the time, travel to stud £90 docking and chipping £370 and so on. In conversations I've had with the people I've lined up for the pups all so far have offered to refund all costs. I wouldn't dream of it, to me it would belittle what these dogs mean to me to even consider having any money change hands. A little respect by way of return pups is all i would ask and the only other thing i would ask is for the bitches not to be treated like £££££££ machines. well said buster, good luck with the litters Quote Link to post

EPTR 4
Beagle cross jacks...your talking about 30 years ago you need to update yourself and over 100 of my customers cant be wrong ...makes me ask how many do you think nuttal has sold? ...lets face it ...you dont even get a pedigree ..some say they are mongrols and not even a line ..I WOULD'NT MIND. As for being ashamed nope far from it ..good dogs are worth good money as the 100 or more customers attest.. Over 100, christ on a bike what a peddler. You cant even compare yourself with nuttal, he has gave alot more to the dogworld than your fancy russels ever could have. What % of yours work as opposed to the % nuttal has bred? Your pedigrees arent worth a fuuck either, paper proves nothing. Im not going to bang on about Nuttal, because I know he fires them out too...but at least his have working blood in them. To give a guarantee that your dogs will do rats shows what shite they really are...feck me I could buy a yorkie and be faily confident it would do rats. FTB 100 in 22 years 4.5 pups a year pedlar I think not ! lol all mine work 100% and have a garuntee to satisfy the customer..comparing with brian nuttal not really ..have no wish to compare with anyone...and for the record like all breeds ive seen none working nuttals 6 infact in one kennel in gatwick 2 were chocolates. EPTR 4
Some have gone to digging homes some have gone to ratting homes some go to show homes and some go to pet homes ..one went as sniffer dog once and one even went to agility. but nobody said they were ripped off..£300 is an averge price ...if not cheaper than many plummers. As for your twenty quid terriers nope not for me mating working to worker means nowt ...pedigrees mean better predictablity for the breeders of genuine working terrier men. Quote Link to post

Hunting Lad 50
I paid 200 pound for my last patterdale pup which I was extremely happy with. Even more now that the terrier done good in his first season. Now my curcumstances have changed and i am planning on working away so he will be going to a mate free of charge. The way I think it should be done really. Its all down to the person who is selling the dog. If you have never met them before you cant expect to get something for nothing so to speak. For me its all about finding the dog the right working home not the right money! Quote Link to post
