mike1458 14
Hi, I have a 10month old collie whippet and he has got what I think is water on the knee. He first had it on his left knee and the vet said it is either water on the knee or a worm so I have wormed him and it cleared up. It has now appeared on his other knee which makes me think it is not a worm. Also thought it could be grass seed, but its very watery. Not fleshy at all, just a ball of water. Is it just water on the knee. It's not causing him any pain at all and he not bothered about it. I personally think he is fine and it will just go. What do you think? moonlighter 1,164
if its an egg size fluid lump on the joint it can be caused by the dog laying on hard surfaces. it happened to one of mine when she used to lay on the concrete patio. A good soft bed might cure it and i dont mean a piece of carpet. Hope this helps.
mike1458 14
Now that you have said, it makes perfect sense. I have just giving him a duvet to lie on. lets see if it goes down. Cheers Moonlighter ATB Mike
