Has anyone got any pic's of Deer hound X Bull?

 

What are they like?

 

I've heard of all kinds of Greyhound crosses, from Bull crosses to Jack Russell crosses lol, but never heard of anyone with a Deer hound X Bull or any other Deer hound X for that matter that hasn't got some Greyhound in it.

 

Which is why I'm interested to hear any ones views on this type.

Theres one in running dog addiction.

 

I would imagine a cross of this type would be good in todays climate as the deerhounds coat would hide a multitude of sins.

i have one bud with a touch of greyhound in him, he is a good dog, even on rabbits, but excels on retrieving, very strong game dog, around 28 inch, im sure dai dogs has one on this site, think i seen apic of the dog, looks a cracker

ive got a pup in at the min hes a 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhound cross 3/4 grey 1/4 bull hes comin on a treat he stands about 26 1/2'' tts hes 10 months old and i cant wait till winter now because i no im goin to hav a gooden with him atb Top Lamper

There are a few people working this cross, they seem every bit as good as the half bull/grey for their job, and to me they look a tad more robust, the deerhound compared to the grey is generally bigger, bit stronger, and better coat for harsh conditions...... just a few things buzzing round my head recently

are they a heavy type though?, the deerhound is generally a bigger dog than greyhound, bone structure etc, i wounder if they are agile enough to course a long-ear?

Yeah thanks for the replies lads.

 

Deer X Bull really interests me, If anyone has got any decent pics of them I'd love to see how they shape up when fully grown.

 

I keep terriers and would imagine a Deer X Bull would work well for me if bred right.
