johnnyboy28 1
1/ What would you say is the best bait to put in a multi catch rat trap next to a lake???? I have been using tuna in bread but only catching the odd few. 2/ could it be there is still alot of other food in the fields etc ? because i have always had good results on the tuna in the past Quote Link to post
Mitch 0
Alot of people use Penut Butter, i have caught some in the roof with the spring traps. You should look into snaring, if they are not taking the bait you may be able to snare them. PegandGun has some awsome pictures of rat snaring, if you do a search you will find them Quote Link to post

Guest rattdog
raw sausage or bacon......Im gonna have to try that! the rat in the pic is a roof rat with the longer tail and bigger ears. the norways get much bigger. rats may not be big game but they sure are smart, cautious and a bitch to catch. excellent quarry to pass the time..
