Guest oldskool
There's one on E Bay for 120 odd quid now. Not sure how effective they are though. Get mine made, they work on a different mechanism than the foot plate type. Quite effective though. http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p146/simmo09/Image005.jpg i think thats the ideal sort of size of a trap for fox... they seem to be very wary of small enclosures... the one i have hasnt been all that effective no matter what bait is in it... and its not often i get the chance to hide it amongst bales etc... i've caught a few big cubs but thats it Quote Link to post
dickyboy 1
i turfed mine so they didn't realise any difference and cover it over so it looks like a dustbin.....as i'm on the town edge there used to small spaces....... the best bait is rabbit or chicken but i use half a dozen frankfurters in a washing pwoder bag....theres so many preservatives they seem to never rot so i don't have to change the baiti just check it from my bedroom window lol lol Quote Link to post

ratcatcher 0
that looks the bizz simmo :thumbs-up: ... do you have much success with it?? i heard that fish works well as a bait. You have to put it in a sack as it is hard to fasten to any thing, but it does'nt take long till it smells realy strong.I don't know how well it works as i have never tried it. Guest oldskool
the trap i have only has the string mechanism on it and because it is small the buggers can reach their paw in the back and eat the bait through the mesh... i heard that a sack soaked in tuna oil is supposed to be good to mate :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post
