of lamping to night

Recommended Posts

have to agree that lamping and ferreting this time of year is not only harmful to your dog running on such hard ground but it is to you ferreting in such hot contitions where digging nests or young rabbits out to be a problem.

where ferrets will drag young around the burrow just before ya break through into the set.

if ya have no other choice then snares and traps to keep the permission.

as especially ferreting this time of of year is a no no for me!

YEP, ferreting is the last thing i would do, and yes above would be better still,or (air rifle). Some land owners are funny people  and like to see you with the rabbits on the same day  ,thats why thought ferreting, but the (gun) would be better

i but as the lad has said the persons horse has f****d its leg so if he doesnt go some 1 else will and he might miss out on losein his permission which would be a kick in the balls to me that lyk atb mate

cheers pal that is right there is a few lads trying to get on there at the moment but because i got the permission first she wont let them on but if i stop going she will let them on. And the ground not that bad it quite soft grassy land. And as for the moon it was covered last night by thick cloud but as it goes i only had 5 of there not a very good night all rabbits still lamp shy and my dogs feet all still intact and no damage
