500,000 unemployed British men, did nothing when 80,000 foreigners came and took over.

Maybe 'doing nothing' (and living on benefit) is the reason they're unemployed.

Exactly. Its all well and good blaming immigrants for lack of work, but when they are getting jobs and our own people arent - it speaks volumes.

If people were truly desperate for work-they would do any job to get back on the ladder-not sit back and sponge.

I think there are far too many immigrants in Britain, but at the minute we'd be fecked without some of them because our own people are too feckin lazy to apply themselves...

110% right mate. I thought originally that it would best to get tories in and at least have a chance to hunt freely again, but that wont ever happen even if they do get in power; and it will be a wor

"The trouble with socialism is that sooner or later, you run out of other peoples' money"

As a country, we are in denial about the massive economic problems we have. Brown has been spending like a shopaholic with all the credit cards since 1997. Even when the economy was strong, he was still borrowing on a massive scale. Anyone who has worked on government contracts in areas like construction will remember that it was a fecking free for all, and the higher up you went, the more tax payers money they were all helping themselves to. All under the 'management' of the labour government.

The government has been messing with quantitive easing and interest rates to make it feel like it's still 2007, and everything is still ok. In reality, inflation is starting to creep in and imported goods are becoming more expensive because the pound is getting weaker.

Unless there is a hung parliament, things will be ok for a month or two after the election, and then times will start to get tougher.

All the political parties are lying through their teeth at the moment, pretending that they aren't going to cut any taxpayer funded freebies. I don't trust any of them, but will be voting tory because I have greater confidence in their overall ability and intent to do what has to be done to sort out the national debt.

So far as the ban goes, I'm not holding out much hope that a conservative government will do a full repeal. Although some commentators do think that they may get rid of a load of the crazier laws that were enacted under the labour government all in one go, including the ban (remember the ban was enacted by flagrant misuse of the Parliament Act, not through normal parliamentary procedure). It's a small chance, but one worth considering nonetheless...

Can't actually believe that people still think that labour is for the working man, their plan is to raise income tax (from the working man) whist millions languish on benefits having never worked a day in their life, immigrants getting hand outs, it's the fecking working man whose paying for it.

The tories need to go a step further and promise a review of the benefits system, too many shysters sitting sponging off the working man and these labour c.nts are allowing it to happen.

best point so far a reckon

We need a change

In my opinion the simple answer is if a foriegner wants to work over here fine...BUT NO housing benifits, NO free NHS, NO council tax benifits or any of that shite until they have paid income tax and NH contribution to this country for a minimum of 2 years. Lets see how many want to live/work over here then?

My young son broke his arm recently and it took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get him seen to in A&E waiting behind 60% of people who couldnt even speak English. Ive grafted my balls off for the last 25 years paying taxes etc and for what?

Fxxkin disgracefull that, no what you mean

Eighty odd thousand polish immigrants came here and got a job whilst we had half a million registered as unemployed. Work that one out.

My dad was in full time employment for all his life he had the same job 30 years he was paid off november last year he gets a grand total of 64 quid a week benifits , my mum has a part time job. They sat down and looked at things and they would be better off if my mum was unemployed to they would get the rent paid for and council tax paid for. my dad is sick of getting knocked back for jobs he is thinking about coming of job seekers and giving self employment a go.

:notworthy:

I'm glad someone else on here doesn't believe in all the Tory hype. Having the Tories back in will not be a good thing for the vast majority of working class people, and besides that I don't believe the ban will ever be overturned.

Until recently I was swaying to the conservative side. That was until I realised what Cameron intends to do to low income families. I'm not a Brown fan at all but when he asked Cameron the burning question: 'why are you giving all these breaks to high income families and taking from the low income families' Cameron danced around and never answered the question. In fact he seems to be rather good at dodging important questions.

NHS, schools, taxes, will have a much more direct impact on folks than the possibility of a hunting act repeal. I'd like to see it repealed, very much so, but ... well, the conservatives have definately lost my vote. Not sure where I'm going to mark my x but it won't be with them.

There must be a lot of dole scroungers on here, going by some of the working class hero bollocks being spouted.

Utter ignorance if you believe that we can pay off the massive debts Brown the worst chancellor in history has run up, without some pain.

Labours Britain is like a neighbour who recently aquired a nice new car had work done on the house, lots of foreign holidays and you think good for him he must be working hard and sucessful.

Some months later you spot the bailiffs round and the car being taken away.

This is Labours idea of running an economy and another term of them idiots will see us in the same position as Greece.

Not credit worthy !

With interest increaseing on the foreign loans propping up our economy and nobody there to bail us out.

Socialism is great as long as there are some capitalists there funding it.
